# Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to your information when you visit mookiz.com. We have kept it short because this website collects very little: it has no accounts, no shop, no forms and no newsletter.

**1. Who is responsible**

This website is run by Mookiz Design. Questions about privacy: hello@mookiz.com. We are the data controller for the purposes of the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR.

**2. Cookies and tracking**

This website sets no cookies and uses no advertising or analytics trackers. Nothing is shared with advertising networks, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

The only thing stored on your device is a short-lived marker in your browser's session storage, used once to send visitors with a Chinese-language browser to the Chinese version of the site. It contains no identifier, is not sent to us, and disappears when you close the tab.

**3. Server logs**

Like any website, our hosting provider records standard server logs when a page is requested: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system. These logs are used only to keep the site running and secure, and to diagnose faults. They are kept for a short period by the host and then deleted. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

**4. If you email us**

When you write to hello@mookiz.com we receive your email address, your message and anything you choose to include. We use it only to answer you and to handle any follow-up such as warranty or support questions, and we keep it no longer than needed for that purpose. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or the performance of a contract where your message concerns a product you bought.

**5. Who else sees your data**

Our website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd (EU). Email is handled by our email provider. Neither uses your data for their own purposes. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not transfer it outside the EEA except as part of ordinary email delivery.

**6. Your rights**

If you are in the UK, the EEA or Switzerland, you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict its use, or object to our use of it. Because this site collects almost nothing, in most cases the only data we hold is an email exchange. Write to hello@mookiz.com and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to your national data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).

If you are a California resident: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, and we do not use personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. You may still ask us what we hold and ask us to delete it, using the same address.

**7. Children**

This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

**8. Changes**

If this policy changes we will post the new version here and update the date above.
